mehrwert - agency for social value added 

mehrwert fosters Service Learning : mehrwert is a non-profit-agency for Service Learning located in Stuttgart. It develops and realizes sustainable learning projects, which bring together the social sector, school system, economy and community sector.  mehrwert organizes learning projects around the issue of social skills for pupils, trainees, students, managers and leaders. Since mehrwert was founded in 2000, about 9000 mainly young people were trained and accompanied in learning projects in different social organizations.

According to the guideline „learning in strange life situations” the participants switch sides for one week . They work and live together with people who are for example old and need care, are ill or have to live with physical and/ or mental handicaps, or are unemployed or homeless.
